There's so many other successful girls my age. They are either sporty freaks of nature, able to have amazing abilities and talents. Making clean sweeps at all competitions and doing the school proud. Or maybe they're musical prodigies, able to play at least 5 different instruments, showing extreme talent at each one. Or maybe they're geniuses, wise and smart beyond their years,
Well, the last time I checked, I don't fall into any of those categories. I am just plain simple Joanne. Sure, I bet that there are many many MANY other really successful Joannes out there and I know I'm not one of them, well at least for now. :) So join me in my quest to find the part of me that is special, the one side that makes me unique from the others. The one piece that makes me me. :)

I need a friend in Secondary school, but I'm definitely not letting go of all the fun times in HPPS. I'm supposed to let go of the past right? And embrace the present? Well, its hard to embrace a present where your classmates are all (well, most of them) either a freak, lame person, bossy, cocky, plain weird, emo and simply HATEFUL people? Life in RGS is hard. I don't think I would enjoy this year to be honest. And I'm supposed to stick with the same class next year?! I would rather transfer out!

Onew Fanfic Part #3

You wake up. You look around and find that you're on the bed. Strange. You remembered sleeping on the kitchen floor. You try to sit up. Your head throbs and your body ached all over. Too painful , you think to yourself and you lie back down. You sniffed the air. You managed to pick up a faint scent.. Porridge? Yes.. Porridge.. And something else.. You hear noises coming from your kitchen. You freeze. Someone is in your house. .  Who could it be?  You slowly try to sit up again. It wasn't as painful as before. You slowly edge yourself off the bed and shuffle towards the kitchen.. 


"OH MY GAWD!!!!  H.. HOW DID YOU GET IN?????? W..WHY ARE YOU HERE??? " you shout  in surprise at the person in the kitchen. You knew him well. You memorised him by heart. It's Key. Another voice sounded behind you "Hey!!!! You woke up!! Wow.. You sure slept for a long time! Hungry yet? :)" You knew that voice. The same pretty voice. It didn't change. It's Taemin's. " W....wait.. WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?!?! HOW DID YOU EVEN FIND ME?!?" you shouted. 


"Ya!! You do know that your house is in a complete mess? You should clean it more often! And your fridge! Filled with junk food!! What have I taught you?? NO LEFTOVERS!!" Key nagged at you, completely ignoring your questions. *sigh* Its Key all right. The same Key that nagged all day. The same Key who made sure everything was neat and tidy. The same Key umma that you love. A little smile creeps into the corner of your mouth. You hear Taemin snicker behind you. You turn around. WOW.. The maknae grew so much.. He's now practically a head taller then you. Ah.. He became more handsome too. Taemin pushed you towards the table. "Ya~ just sit down here and relax okay? Umma and I are going to prepare something yummy for you :) " You nod your head and smile. Taemin has surely grown up. So mature. So gentlemanly. You blushed a little. xDD  Before long, steaming hot food was put in front of you.  You rushed to put the food in your mouth. " OMG.. KEY! THIS IS SOOOO *chews food* GOOD!!! " you manage to say in between mouthfuls of Diva Key's food. " YA! Don't talk while eating! You might get indigestion! " Key nagged. 


After eating every single morsel of food, you burped contently.. "Thanks umma~~ That was daebakkk~ " you say. "So, tell me, whatcha here for? " you ask them. Taemin and Key looked at each other with nervous faces.. "Well, we've come here to talk to you about......Onew."

Onew Fanfic Part #2

*beep... beep..beep..* You awake to a really irritating beeping noise.. Ah.. It was just your alarm clock. You slowly uncurl from your "ball" and become increasingly aware of the aches in your body. It didn't matter. Nothing really did matter after he left.  You look down at the picture of Onew on your lap and give a big sigh.. You knew that things can't go on like this. It had to stop. If things went on like this, you knew that you were going to end up in an asylum pretty soon.

You gently put back the picture into the box and gave it one last longing look before putting on the lid. You held the box in your arm and stood up. You went to the kitchen and opened the lid of the rubbish chute. You stare down into it. Nothing there but darkness. It seemed so empty, so forbidding, so lonely... So cold.. "Like me" you muttered under your breath. You hesitated for a while.. But still, you gave the box one last longing look before sending the box hurtling down to the deep deep deep bottom of the rubbish chute.  You instantly regretted. But you didn't cry or rush down to try to pick it up because you knew that it was for the best. For your sake. And for Onew's too... 


Strange. The word just rolls off your tongue now.. Onew onew onew.. The name I loved.. My romeo. My oxygen. My everything.. Yet my lucifer at the same time.. You gave a little smirk at the thought..  You felt tired. You slid down on the floor. Your eyelids were getting heavier and your vision started to blur... You tried to protest against it - The strange force that wills you to close your eyes and go to sleep. You knew what was waiting for you if you sleep. The same torturing dream. Again and again. The one that makes you terrified of sleeping. The same one that made those ugly ugly ugly eye bags on your pretty face. Nevertheless, the temptation of sleep managed to persuade you once again and you soon fell into a deep sleep..................

He's there. He's right in front of you. You try to go to him. You can't move. You're rooted to the spot. He turns. You scream a silent scream. He's going.... He's gone.... 

You wake up with a jolt. "It's just a dream" you tell yourself. The same dream that tortures you every night. The one that steals your sleep. The one that leaves you short-breathed. The one that makes you cry out loud when the dream seems so real. So close to touch. ..

You stretch your neck to look at your alarm clock. Its 4am. You know you can't go back to sleep. You always can't. You switch on your lights. Get off the bed. Walk to the cupboard and open it. You look at the big box lying innocently on the shelf. You pick it up and gently opened the lid. A familiar sight greeted you. A big picture of Onew flashing his megawatt smile..  You stare at the picture and whisper.. " Please oppa. Jebal. I'm begging you, please stop it.. " Without you realizing, big droplets of tears started to roll down your cheeks. You were a little surprised. You never cried again after crying your heart out that night. You practically believed that you used up your lifetime's supply of tears. You hug the picture close to your chest and curl up into a ball on the floor. "Just once. Just let me cry once more and I'll promise to never do it again" you beg yourself. And just like this, you cry yourself to sleep while holding the picture close to your heart...
